可以了 - 陳奕迅 (Eason Chan - It's Over)

If you don't already know, I'm someone who loves listening to Cantopop! And so, I fell in love with literally all of Eason Chan's songs. It's so easy to relate to, and his style of singing is pretty much the kind my ears sought comfort in. His latest song though, is in mandarin but I love the lyrics so much.

I think I'm kinda weird in a sense that I'm now "crazy" over all the "oldies". Like Chilam, Francis, Louis... etc. But okay back to this song...

"我們 一路停停走走 越來越不知道自己要的是什麼" that's true... sometimes when you think about it... you'll wonder why you're studying or working so hard for? At the end of the day, we all die. Then where do all the experiences we had go to?

"你的痕跡還在我這 像塵埃沒有分 如影隨形著 狂妄刺痛著 我" This gets to me..... like it's probably my second favorite line in this song.

"走不到的路就算了 我們永遠停在這了 愛不愛了 成為過去了 只是朋友 我們可以了" I guess this was the punchline of the whole song. The road that we could not walk together, we'll forget about it. Let's just stay at this moment forever... but can we really just stay at that moment? And whether or not we have loved does not matter, what matters most now is that we're just friends and that's enough.

Ooohhhhhhhh, deep. Been on replay for the past week. Bahahaha. Oh well, for those of you who haven't heard this song, I hope you liked it as much as I did :)
