Pride

I can't tell which hurts my pride more: When you told me you couldn't be with me because I would always be a kid in your eyes -- or when you told me that you would always love me as a kid but never as a woman.

It makes me feel underestimated, underrated, useless in fact. I blame myself for being only the age that I am when I know better that it is you who should be ashamed.
